Afternoon Dismissal
Please be mindful that if you need to enter the school (during AM or PM drop off or pick up), please park your car in the parking lot and enter through the front doors of the building. DO NOT park in the parent pick up/drop off area; this can cause a traffic hazard and/or congestion during peak times. Any student exiting a vehicle must exit on the CURB SIDE of the vehicle. Please do not pull out of line to pass cars in front of you!
Students will not be dismissed after 2:15 PM. In the event that you have to pick up your child for an appointment or otherwise, please make arrangements to do so BEFORE 2:15 PM or you'll have to wait either in the car loop or for "walkers" to be dismissed.
Tdap Vaccine
Rising 6th grade students must provide documentation that they've had their Tdap vaccines. This is a mandatory requirement prior to entering middle school. If you have any questions please contact Nurse Tracy Sandeson @ (540) 946-4660.
STOPit
We are excited to continue our use of STOPit in our school division for the 2021-2022 school year! STOPit is an online reporting tool designed to deter and mitigate bullying, cyber abuse, and other inappropriate behaviors, consisting of an app and a back-end incident management system for school administrators.
